Dami Onafuye

Partner

Damilare Onafuye is a Partner of Terratrust Capital, a Private Capital firm. He previously led Investment Banking at AVA Capital and oversaw Capital raising, financial advisory, and structuring for AVA Capital. Earlier in his career, he held roles at GTBank. He is a Chartered Accountant, holds an MBA from IESE and a B.Sc from OOU. Dami has participated in numerous transactions exceeding US $100 million and played key roles in initiatives such as structuring an Infrastructure fund, Due Diligence (M&A) in the healthcare Industry and the early growth of a French fintech.

Ope Simpson

Partner

Finance and risk management professional with a focus on venture capital. Bridges academia and finance to drive investment into African-owned and controlled businesses globally.

Ope Simpson

Partner

Ope Simpson is a Partner at Terra Trust Capital with extensive leadership experience in fund management and commercial banking risk management. His previous roles include Head of Investment Risk Management at PAL Pensions, where he managed the investment risk framework for a portfolio exceeding $1.5 billion in AUM, and Head of Market Risk Management at Sterling Bank. At Sterling, he was part of the elite Senior Management Associate Programme, a fast-track executive leadership initiative. He holds the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification and is a Level II Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate.
